Terry Addington CEO

Mr. Addington has had a distinguished 26 year career in the Wireless Industry. Starting in 1992 he was President and CEO of First Cellular of Southern Ilinois until its sale to Alltel in 2006. In 2005 he served as Chairman of the Board of the Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association (CTIA) and in 2001 – 2002 he served as President of the Rural Cellular Association (RCA).

Prior to starting First Cellular in the early 1990’s, Mr. Addington was a Region Vice President for GTE Mobilnet and Contel Cellular in Louisville, Kentucky, and General Manager of Contel Cellular of Mobile, Alabama, and Pensacola, Florida. Before his wireless experience, Mr. Addington worked for AT&T (pre divestiture).

Mr. Addington is the recipient of numerous honors and distinctions for his work in federal and state legislative, regulatory and policy matters, including the Wireless Industry Presidents Award, presented by the CTIA in 1995, and the GTE Mobilnet Presidents Award. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of Motricity, the nation’s leading content provider to the Wireless Industry, and Open Range Communications, a start-up wireless high speed data provider to rural America. He is also served on numerous company advisory Boards as well as a past Consultant to Vantage Marketplace, LLC a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs. Other past directorships include several years on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Telecommunications Association (ITA) and the Rend Lake College foundation. Civic involvement included many years as a Commissioner of the Mount Vernon, Illinois Economic Development Commission.

Mr. Addington earned a degree in Economics from Central Washington State University, Ellensburg, Washington


 

Michael Beehn Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer of SI Wireless, Michael Beehn is responsible for the overall business operations including: marketing, sales, distribution, product development, customer experience, information technology and supply chain management.

With over 18 years of wireless telecommunications experience, Michael rejoins the former First Cellular Senior Management team and owners to help guide the growth of SI Wireless.

Michael’s wireless career began at First Cellular of Southern Illinois where as the VP of Marketing and Product Development he was essential in the successful branding of First Cellular, implementing new products, and the establishment of an efficient supply chain. During his tenure, he pioneered the use of Unlimited Postpaid voice products, as well as developed an Unlimited Prepay wireless product that produced industry leading margins. Michael led cross-functional teams to assure the development and deployment of new products, such as being the first U.S. based carrier to launch Caller Ring Back tones.

After the sale of First Cellular to Alltel in 2006, he held General Manager Responsibilities for Alltel markets held in Trust throughout Southern Minnesota, which had to re-branded and divested due to a Department of Justice order.

Most Recently, Michael served as Vice President of Marketing for Revol Wireless in Cleveland Ohio that covers MSAs in Ohio and Indiana. There he led product marketing, pricing, and advertising.

Michael has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University.


 

Mike Jaksich Chief Technology Officer

Michael Jaksich is Chief Technology Officer for SI Wireless. In this role he is responsible for establishing and managing the overall direction, technology and planning of all SI Wireless networks.

Throughout his 23 year wireless career, Jaksich has held a variety of positions in all aspects of planning, operations and engineering beginning with Bell Atlantic Mobile in 1987. Prior to joining SI Wireless, he was the Western Regional Director of Network Operations for all divested markets post Verizon/Alltel merger which consisted of California, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming. For the four years prior, he served as Northeast Regional Director of Network Operations with Alltel where he was responsible for network operations and approximately 2000 cell sites within Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia and Connecticut. From 2001-2006, he served as Vice President of Network Operations at First Cellular of Southern Illinois where he led the first known dual technology (GSM and CDMA) deployment within the same licensed spectrum.


 

Jason Narrell Chief Financial Officer/ Business Development

In this role, Jason is responsible for the company's financial analysis and planning, auditing, tax, treasury, revenue assurance and focusing on both external and organic strategic business opportunities. He has also held multiple positions at Sprint Nextel, most recently as Director of Corporate Strategy where he managed the corporate plan from a focus on network strategy. This included ownership of corporate capital distributions, MVNO strategy, and multiple build programs including rural market opportunities. Business development efforts at Sprint Nextel included major MVNO agreements, network partnerships, vertical acquisitions, and international programs.

At Sprint Nextel, Jason also managed decision support functions from within the Finance organization as well as developed corporate wide activity based models to feed pricing, management reporting, business case development, and product development tools. Jason has also managed audit functions in the transportation, industrial, and investment sectors. Prior to joining SI Wireless, he served as Chief Restructuring Officer for an asset-rich nationwide wireless company that was decommissioned and distributed back into mainstream commercial use.

Jason holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Banking from the University of Missouri.


 

Todd Perpignani VP of Network Operations

S. I. Wireless LLC., welcomed the appointment of Todd Perpignani as Vice President of Network Operations in March, 2010. Todd’s role is to direct the development and operations of all initiatives related to network design and territory deployment. Todd’s experience in the cellular industry began over 20 years ago in Southern California with Pactel following successful completion of his baccalaureate degree from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale. Todd’s career continued to progress as he developed his experiences in switching and data engineering for Bell Atlantic Mobile in Phoenix, AZ. Todd later accepted the position of Switching Operations Manager with First Cellular of Southern Illinois and then Network Operations Manager when the company was sold to Alltel Communications. Todd brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge in technical development, emergency response and Quality Management Leadership.

Todd resides in Carbondale, Il. with his wife and three children and is actively involved in his community.


 

Matthew Owens VP of Marketing/Customer Experience

Matthew Owens joined SI Wireless in August 2010 as the vice president of Marketing and Customer Experience and reports to SI Wireless’s CO.

Owens, a member of SI Wireless’ Executive Team, has over 16-years of extensive experience within marketing and wireless telecommunications operations. He brings this comprehensive system and consumer expertise to his role of aligning all of the company’s key consumer-facing initiatives in order to deliver a coherent and powerful brand message in the marketplace.

At SI Wireless, Owens leads all aspects of member relationship management, brand management, business-to-consumer marketing, communications and public affairs, supply chain management and online commerce. As such, he is responsible for strategic planning, advertising, public relations, web initiatives, equipment procurement/logistics and member services.

Prior to SI Wireless, Owens served as Director of Marketing at Revol Wireless, of Independence OH; as Channel Marketing Manager at Brightpoint North America, of Plainfield, IN; and as Manager of Marketing and Supply Chain Operations at First Cellular of Southern Illinois of Mount Vernon, IL.

Owens earned a Bachelor of Art in Radio-Television from Southern Illinois University, and later, a Master’s in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.


 

Dale Lewis VP of Sales

Dale joined SI Wireless in July 2010. He has over twenty years' experience in the wireless industry. At SI Wireless Dale is responsible for the direct and indirect distribution channels, sales training, retail construction, customer growth and sales staff development. Prior to joining SI Wireless, Dale was Director of Sales for Bluegrass Cellular, Regional Sales Manager with Alltel for Illinois and Kentucky and VP of Sales Operations for First Cellular of Southern Illinois. Dale has also served and chaired committees for Rural Cellular Association and was awarded the Outstanding Service Award in 2009.

Dale holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education, Training and Development from Southern Illinois University.


 

Rhonda Barnard VP of HR Administration

A native of Southern Illinois, Rhonda Barnard joined SI Wireless LLC in February 2010 as VP HR & Administration. She is responsible for all initiatives relating to Human Resources including compensation, benefits, recruitment, and employee relations as well as managing the Company’s administrative functions. Prior to joining SI Wireless, Barnard held HR positions in various industries including manufacturing, insurance, and mining as well as serving as Director of Human Resources for First Cellular of Southern Illinois.

Barnard is a certified Professional in Human Resources and holds a BS Accounting from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management and Rotary International. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Hamilton Memorial Hospital District where she is a member of the Finance and Scholarship Committees.
