Visited with members of congress to discuss issues related to Regional Telephone Carriers.
This month, wireless provider MobileNation CEO Terry Addington participated in the 2013 CCA Capitol Hill Day. The Competitive Carriers Association (CCA) is the premier association representing over 100 wireless telecommunications providers across the United States. CCA speaks with a strong, united voice on issues that concern its members like MobileNation.
CCA Members spent the day talking with Members of Congress on issues most important to competitive carriers including the upcoming incentive auction, USF reform and unlocking devices. These issues are critically important and MobileNation wanted to be sure their voice was heard.
Mr. Addington was able to meet face to face with 7th District Tennessee Congressman Marsha Blackburn, a strong supporter of small business and job creators, about Mr. Addington’s thoughts and point of view.
Lea Addington, Daughter of Terry Addington, came as a
college student observer majoring in International Affairs to better learn how
our government works and how its citizens can talk to their representatives
about issues that affect them.
